The 11th round of the 45th World Chess Olympiad took place in Hungary, where the men's team of Uzbekistan triumphed over France and the women's team defeated Turkey, according to the press service of the NOC. As a result of the competition, Uzbekistan's men's team finished in third place, while the women's team ranked 12th. The Uzbek team outperformed China, Ukraine, Poland, Bulgaria, and Argentina based on additional indicators. In individual boards, on the first board, Nodirbek Abdusattorov won the silver medal, remaining unbeaten in all 11 games. On the 4th board, Shamsiddin Vokhidov earned the gold medal, winning all 10 games. In the women's competition, on the 4th board, Nodira Nodirjonova claimed the bronze medal, playing 8 games and earning 7 points.
